So I quit my job at the tanning salon because two jobs was just freaking me out. I felt way more stressed than a few years ago when I was a lot healthier. I guess I just bit off more than I could chew. I don't need that kind of exhaustion. I'm too ill for that.
Speaking of illness, my fissure is back! Yeah ya know how I had surgery in September or October of last year? Well it looks like I'm going to have to do it again. I was in the emergency room with severe pain in my rectum last night. They hooked me to an IV and gave me antibiotics and pain killer through it. That felt really good after not being able to sleep the night before. I was released at about 12:30am last night, so I'm home now.
And not only do I have a fissure, but I have an abcess with icky green stuff inside, which means I have an infection. So because of that, I have to go off Humira for a while so I don't worsen the infection. I'm just hoping my lovely solid stools continue without my humira. That would be nice.
So I have two appointments on Monday, one at 9:30am to see the surgeon, and one at 11:30am to see my gastro. Hopefully with the antibiotics and pain meds I took home I'll be able to last through work the next week and schedule surgery for the week after. The good news is I'm not scheduled to go in until Tuesday, so I have time to adjust to heavy pain meds and antibiotics before I go back to work.
But besides all that my hubby is awesome. He took me to the emergency room last night, and has waited on me all day. He took me to PS to drop off my doctors note and get my prescriptions from CVS this morning, and He also grilled tilapia and fried tatos for din din. He is good to me. :)
